  • What ingredients do you use in your candles?
    At Candletruck, we hand-pour our candles with 100% natural soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and wooden wicks. Our candles are free from paraffin, parabens, and phthalates, ensuring a clean and safe burn. We carefully choose all our materials for their quality and sustainability.
  • How should I care for my candle?
    To ensure the best burn, trim the wooden wick to about 1/4 inch before lighting. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface each time you burn the candle to prevent tunneling (around 2 hours to reach full melt pool). Always burn your candle within sight and keep it away from drafts or flammable objects.
  • How long will my candle burn?
    Our 7oz candles burn for approximately 40-50 hours. To get the most out of your candle, we recommend trimming the wick before each use to prevent excessive soot and ensure an even burn.
  • Why does my candle have white patches or a frosted appearance on the jar?
    This is known as frosting — a natural crystallization that occurs in soy wax due to its molecular structure. It happens when the wax cools and solidifies, especially in temperature fluctuations. Frosting is common in 100% soy candles and is a sign of a natural, additive-free product; it does not affect the performance, scent throw, or burn quality of your candle. We embrace these small imperfections as part of the handmade charm.
  • Why does the surface of my candle look bumpy or uneven after burning?
    This is a natural characteristic of pure soy wax. As the wax cools and re-solidifies after burning, the rate of cooling and the crystal structure of the soy wax can lead to an uneven or bumpy surface. Unlike paraffin, soy wax is a plant-based material with a softer, more delicate composition, which makes it more prone to these textural changes. This doesn’t affect the performance or quality of the candle—just a sign you’re enjoying a clean, plant-based product!
  • Do you ship internationally?
    Currently, we only offer shipping within Singapore. However, we’re working on expanding our shipping options, so stay tuned for updates. If you’re outside our current shipping area and want to place an order, feel free to reach out—we’ll see what we can do!
  • Can the vessels be repurposed?
    Absolutely! We love the idea of our vessels having a second life. Once your candle has burned down, you can easily clean out the remaining wax and repurpose the jar. It can be used for everything from holding small plants to storing office supplies or even as a decorative piece. We hope our candles inspire creativity even after their initial burn!

  • What should I do if my candle arrived damaged?
    We take great care in packaging your order, but if your candle arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with a photo of the damage. We’ll be happy to resolve the issue and get you a replacement or refund.
  • Can I return or exchange my candle?
    Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is damaged during shipping. If you have any issues with your order, please get in touch with us right away, and we’ll do our best to make it right.
  • How do I know which scent is right for me?
    Choosing a scent is a personal experience, and we understand it can be tricky. We recommend reading through our scent notes and descriptions to see which one resonates with you. If you’re still unsure, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help guide you based on your preferences!
